Terms & Conditions:

  • The hydrant must have a minimum flow of 900 GPM. (Page Fire Department has this information)
  • If at any time the hydrant no longer meets the minimum flow requirements, the Fire Department reserves the right to cancel this permit and re-paint the hydrant yellow.
  • Existing blue hydrants cannot be repainted.
  • The hydrant color and design must be acceptable to the Fire Department. (no obscenities, no pornography, no solid black or solid blue hydrants.
  • The participant must maintain the hydrant's paint job in good condition and a 3-foot clearing around the hydrant must be on-going. (If a hydrant is not maintained, the Fire Department reserves the right to cancel this permit and re-paint the hydrant yellow.)
  • Please send a photo of your completed hydrant to the Fire Department to be used on the map.
  • Hydrants will be checked once a year; if your hydrant has not been painted or has not maintained we may contact you and ask if you would still like to participate in the program.
  • When the applicant no longer wishes to participate in the program they must notify the Fire Department.
